Opening the doors to a brighter future. This is what Richard J. Trifiro was passionate about and it was his strong desire in life to make a difference by “returning to society” in part what was his good fortune.

An extraordinary person by all accounts, Richard extended his goodwill to all of those he encountered and was especially dedicated to helping underprivileged high school students further their education, realize their goals and “dream big” by awarding scholarships.

Richard’s generosity was not measured only in dollar figures. He mentored, guided and supported 35 inner-city students, forming lasting relationships with all of these individuals. Richard viewed all of these students he had helped over the years as part of his family.

Atlantic Management founded The Richard J. Trifiro Foundation in 2001 to honor Richard and carry on his philanthropic mission. The goal of the foundation is to make higher education available to underprivileged high school seniors by awarding scholarships to those who may need financial assistance to attend and stay in college. By establishing The Foundation, Atlantic Management can continue Richard’s vision and make a positive impact on as many students as possible.

These scholarships are made possible by the many devoted contributors who help make Richard’s continuing vision a reality. To date, The Richard J. Trifiro Foundation has awarded more than forty (40) scholarships in loving memory of Richard.
